2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cups Kitchen Basics® Original Chicken Stock
1 cup frozen peas
1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Garlic Powder
1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Black Pepper, Ground
1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Nutmeg, Ground
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups instant white rice
1/4 cup toasted sliced almonds
Melt butter in medium saucepan on medium heat. Add onion; cook and stir 3 minutes or until softened. Add stock, peas and seasonings. Bring to boil.
Stir in rice. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir in almonds.
