Slow Cookers Savory Pot Roast

Savory aromas entice you as this easy meal-in-one gently simmers in the slow cooker. Choose a boneless chuck roast for the richest taste or a rump roast if you prefer lower fat.

  • Place beef and vegetables in slow cooker.

  • Mix Seasoning Mix and water until blended. Pour over beef and vegetables. Cover.

  • Cook 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH. Remove roast and vegetables to serving platter. Stir sauce before serving.

Cooking tip

Test Kitchen Tip: For a quicker start, trim the meat, assemble ingredients, and cut up the vegetables the night before. (Cover the potatoes with water to prevent browning.) Then refrigerate until you're ready to start the slow cooker the next day. Prepare as directed, draining potatoes before adding to slow cooker.

Slow Cooker Tip: For best results, do not remove cover during cooking.

    I just made this this morning, woke up early 8 am started to prepare the ingredients and popped it into the crock pot for 4 hours and I just finished it for lunch me and my brother love it. Thumbs up yummmy might not be left overs..

    A wonderful, delicious, fall-apart dish that I found amazing. Just like grandmas ... only better. You don't even need teeth to eat this! :) My house smelled awesome all day.

    I do not like any recipe with liquor in it. Many of your recipes do.
