Cut up and refrigerate the vegetables for this slow cooked braised beef roast the evening before so that in the morning the preparation will be a snap.
Place roast and vegetables in slow cooker.
Mix Seasoning Mix, water and tomato paste until well blended. Pour over roast and vegetables. Cover.
Cook 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH. Remove roast and vegetables and place on serving platter. Skim excess fat from sauce before serving.
Slow Cooker Tips:
•For 6-quart or larger slow cooker or when cooking on LOW, place vegetables on bottom or sides of slow cooker.
•For best results, do not remove cover during cooking.
