A crowd-pleasing sandwich of slow cooked roast beef in a roll with a side of au jus or beef juices for dipping. Serve at football parties or any other casual get-together of friends and family.
1 large onion, sliced
2 pounds beef bottom round roast, trimmed
1 package McCormick® Slow Cookers French Dip Seasoning Mix
2 cups water
6 submarine rolls, toasted
Place onion and roast in slow cooker.
Mix Seasoning Mix and water until well blended. Pour over roast. Cover.
Cook 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH. Remove roast from slow cooker. Skim fat from au jus.
Slice beef into thin slices. Return beef to slow cooker. Serve on toasted rolls with au jus on the side for dipping.
Slow Cooker Tip: For best results, do not remove cover during cooking.

Very good recipe with the slow cooker package but hard to find in the stores. One reviewer said there wasn't anything that said the nutrition count and there is...need to look on the right side of the page and it's right there. All of McCormick's site has the nutrition guide for everything.
Delicious! I don't know why someone would only give 3 stars because there isn't a nutrition count.
