2 pounds beef stew meat, trimmed (1-inch cubes)
1 package (8 ounces) sliced mushrooms
2 medium carrots, cut into 1-inch chunks
1 medium onion, cut into wedges
1 package McCormick® Slow Cookers Red Wine Braised Roast Seasoning Mix
1 cup water
2 tablespoons tomato paste
Place beef and vegetables in slow cooker.
Mix Seasoning Mix, water and tomato paste until well blended. Pour over beef and vegetables. Cover.
Cook 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH. Stir before serving.
Slow Cooker Tip: For best results, do not remove cover during cooking.

Delicious aroma at 3.5 hours on high, slightly pinkish center, tender. Yums! Tweaked recipe: warm sauce before pouring on stew meat also add garlic, salted potatoes with olive oil.
