Tasty, easy, and quick.
I used ground turkey instead of ground beef.
The cornbread stuck to the pan lid a bit. Next time will spray lid with nonstick spray first.
A definite keeper!

Liked it! Reminded me of the tamale pie that a friend's mom served when I was young.
I tried this recipe twice, but with my own cornbread recipe. The recipe was the right serving size, so it should have been fine. Unfortunately not, because the cornbread would not cook on top, but would sink into the meat. I even baked it in the oven hoping it would help, but did not. The meat part was very tasty, but that's all.
