before my grandmother passed away, at the age of 98, we had to get those family recipes. One of those was here chili...mild but bursting with flavor. I carefully wrote down her ingredients, she insisted that we must use McCormick Chili Seasoning. Several years after she passed i was making her chili and decided to look on the back of the seasoning to see what they used. To my surprise there was Granny's same ingredients...i do belive she cheated :) The only ingredient that she added was finely sliced celery put in the last 10 minutes.

My families absolute favorite chili. I make it with tomato sauce because of the 4 kids who don't want chunks of tomato in their chili.

A good chili. I do give it a small dash of Cheyenne pepper for a kick. Serve the chili with cornbread.

Chili is yummy! I mix it different every time. I usually add celery, white onions and carrots chopped in small pieces. Kidney beans and white beans added the last 10 minutes.

I made this last night. I used ground turkey, pinto beans and whole canned tomatoes that I cut into smaller pieces. I also added macaroni and onions. My family loved it and asked for more.
