Flavorful grilled flank steak served with an avocado and tomato salad makes for a light and easy summertime dinner idea.
1 1/2 pounds flank steak
2 tablespoons oil, divided
3 tablespoons plus 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Perfect Pinch® Salt Free Fiesta Citrus Seasoning
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 ripe avocado, peeled, seeded and cubed
1/2 cup quartered cherry tomatoes
1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
Brush steak with 1 tablespoon of the oil. Mix 3 tablespoons of the Seasoning and sugar. Rub on both sides of steak. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix avocado, tomatoes, onion, remaining 1 tablespoon oil and 1/2 teaspoon Seasoning in medium bowl. Cover. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Grill steak over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with Avocado Tomato Salad.

I haven't made the flank steak yet, but my boyfriend LOVES the avacado/tomato salad. It's light, healthy and yummy!
I love this. i eat avacado every day and look for different ways to use it.
The flank steak was excellent, but the avocado tomato salad was a bit bland. I added some lime juice to the salad which helped some.
Really enjoyed this recipe. Very tasty way to prepare Flank Steak!
