Garlic Herb Tilapia

Mild, flaky tilapia, seasoned with a savory herb butter and baked to perfection.

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and ground mustard in medium bowl until well blended.

  • Place fish on foil-lined shallow baking pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Spread fish with herb butter mixture.

  • Bake 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

Cooking tip

• Try recipe with red snapper, striped bass, flounder or sole.

• If desired, substitute 1/4 teaspoon each McCormick® Basil Leaves and McCormick® Thyme Leaves for the Italian Seasoning.

    The combination of seasonings is not a great choice, but it was okay. I do not care for garlic on my fish, maybe it was just the Tilapia. I think I will stick with lemon pepper and butter.

    sounds delicious. Next time I fix tilapia I will make this recipe. Sounds so simple yet elegant.

    I made this meal last night and it was fabulous. Even though I put the salt and pepper in the butter mixture and on the fish it was still good eats. I will be using this recipe again.

    let me start by saying i am not normally the cook in this household for a reason :) last nite i made this for myself and Creamy Linguine with Shrimp and Asparagus for my husband and they were both pleasantly suprised.
