Here is an Italian seasoned twist for Bag 'n Season® Pot Roast. Your family will love the exciting new flavor and you will love the quick and easy clean up. Photo credit: Georgia Johnson from Comfort of Cooking.
1 package McCormick® Bag 'n Season® Pot Roast
3 pounds eye round roast, trimmed
2 cups green beans
1 cup onion, slices
1 cup red bell pepper, strips
1 can tomato sauce, (8 ounces)
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon flour
1 1/2 teaspoons McCormick® Perfect Pinch® Italian Seasoning
Preheat oven to 350°F. Arrange opened Cooking Bag in 13x9-inch baking pan or dish. Place roast and vegetables in bag.
Mix Seasoning Mix, tomato sauce, brown sugar, flour and Italian seasoning until well blended. Pour over roast. Close bag loosely with nylon tie. Cut 4 small holes in top of bag to allow steam to escape.
Bake in lower half of oven 1 1/2 hours. Remove from oven. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. Serve over cooked noodles, if desired.
IMPORTANT: Allow 8 inches for bag to expand while cooking. Cooking bag should not touch oven walls or racks.
