Southwest Grilled Shrimp

Serve the grilled shrimp with rice and beans for dinner with Southwestern flair.

Makes 4 servings.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 5 minutes

INGREDIENTS

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon McCormick® Perfect Pinch® Salt Free Southwest Sweet 'n Smoky Seasoning
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

DIRECTIONS

1. Mix oil, Seasoning and sugar in large bowl until well blended. Add shrimp; toss to coat well. Thread shrimp onto skewers.

2. Grill over medium heat 2 to 3 minutes per side or just until shrimp turn pink.

Tips

Test Kitchen Tips:

  • Try also with McCormick® Perfect Pinch® Salt Free Fiesta Citrus Seasoning.

 

  • If using wooden skewers, soak thoroughly in water for at least 30 minutes before threading with shrimp. This prevents them from burning when on the grill
