Classic Streusel Topping

Use this streusel topping for fruit pies, crisps or coffee cakes. If desired, 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans can be used in addition to or in place of the oats.

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick® Cinnamon Sugar
  • 6 tablespoons cold butter, cut into pieces
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 Mix flour, brown sugar and cinnamon sugar in medium bowl.
  • 2 Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in oats.
  • 3 Sprinkle over fruit pie, crisp or coffee cake. Bake as directed on recipe.
