Baked donuts are so much easier to make than the fried variety. These bite-size treats are scented with pumpkin pie spice and tossed in a simple vanilla glaze.
2 cups all-purpose baking mix, such as Bisquick®
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2/3 cup milk
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract
1 teaspoon McCormick® Pumpkin Pie Spice
4 cups confectioners’ sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 teaspoons McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract
Preheat oven to 325°F. For the Donuts, spray mini donut pan with no stick cooking spray. Set aside. Mix all ingredients in medium bowl until well blended. Spoon batter into prepared pan, using 1 tablespoon batter for each donut.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Meanwhile, for the Vanilla Glaze, mix all ingredients in large bowl until smooth. Remove donuts from pan. Immediately coat in glaze. Place donuts on wire rack set over a baking sheet or waxed paper to cool.
Try donuts with other flavors of Glazes, including Mini Baked Donuts with Lemon Glaze, Mini Baked Donuts with Maple Glaze, and Mini Baked Donuts with Mocha Glaze
Test Kitchen Tip: If you do not have a mini donut pan, use a mini cupcake pan to make donut holes. Prepare as directed.

I made these yesterday and they were awesome! I always have pumpkin spice at home and this made a great quick breakfast. I love being able to use bisquick! I never have typical baking ingredients at home. So easy.

I loved the recipe but I changed it a little bit. I put extra pumpkin spice in it and also after I glazed the donut holes I sprinkled them with pumpkin spice also. The results were delicious. I truly enjoyed them.
Where's the pumpkin? Otherwise it is just weak cinnamon sweet biscuit with a powdered sugar glaze. Not what I expected with Pumpkin Pie in the name.
Much better with the Bisquick. I think folks giving the recipe 1 star probably used flour.
Just curious if people have misread the recipe? It calls for all-purpose baking mix, not flour...so something like Bisquick would be ideal. If using Bisquick it should have the right ingredients to make the donuts rise properly and taste good. I haven't tried the recipe yet...but before I do, I'd like to find out if that may have been a mistake that was made.
HORRIBLE! This recipe is definitely missing ingredients. Batter is so thick, doesn't bake well, tastes awful. Don't waste your time or ingredients on this recipe! ZERO stars if possible.
