The ground leaves of the small, creeping, shrublike perennial with a pungent mintlike odor, Thymus vulgaris L.

USAGE
Herb Pork Roast

MIX 2 teaspoons seasoned salt and 1 teaspoon Ground Thyme.

COAT 1 boneless pork roast (about 2 pounds) with herb mixture.

ROAST in preheated 350ºF oven 1 hour or until desired doneness.

If desired, prepare Ginger Peach Glaze by mixing 1/2 cup peach or apricot preserves, 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce and 3/4 teaspoon Ground Ginger.  Spoon over pork during last 10 minutes of cooking.
