A liquid extract, imitation strawberry, flavored naturally and artificially for use in icings, etc.
USAGE
No-Bake Strawberry Cheesecake
2 pkg. (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp. McCormick® Imitation Strawberry Extract
1 tub (8 oz.) frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 prepared vanilla crumb crust (6 oz.)
BEAT cream cheese, sugar and Extract in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended and smooth. Gently stir in whipped topping. Spoon into crust.
REFRIGERATE 3 hours or until set. Garnish with fresh strawberries, if desired.
Makes 8 servings.
USAGE
Strawberry Frosting: Stir 1 1/2 teaspoons Extract into 1 can (16 ounces) vanilla frosting.
