A blend of natural and artificial flavors in a liquid base that simulates the flavor of maple syrup.
USAGE
Maple-Flavored Syrup
1 1/2 cups light corn syrup
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. water
1 tsp. each McCormick® Imitation Maple Flavor and Pure Vanilla Extract
MIX corn syrup, sugar and water in medium saucepan. Stirring constantly, bring to boil on medium heat and boil 2 minutes. Stir in Flavor and Extract.
Makes 1 2/3 cups syrup.
Quick Maple Oatmeal Cookies
PREPARE 1 package (17 1/2 ounces) oatmeal cookie mix as directed on package.
STIR in 2 teaspoons Flavor and 1 cup each chopped pecans and raisins.
BAKE and cool as directed on package.
Makes 48 cookies.
USAGE
Maple Buttercream Frosting: Stir 1/2 teaspoon Flavor into 1 can (16 ounces) buttercream frosting until well blended.
