Making onion soup is as easy as adding Lawry’s® Au Jus Gravy Mix to caramelized onions. If desired, serve the soup topped with toasted bread slices and melted Swiss cheese.
3 tablespoons butter
3 medium onions, thinly sliced
1 package Lawry's® Au Jus Gravy Mix
3 cups water
Melt butter in large saucepan on medium heat. Add onions; cook and stir 20 minutes or until golden brown. Add Gravy Mix and water.
Bring to boil on high heat. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve with crusty bread topped with melted Swiss cheese, if desired.
