Keep flour tortillas on hand in your refrigerator so you can make quesadillas, burritos and fajitas anytime. For Steak Fajitas, sauté strips of steak, onion and bell peppers; then season with Lawry’s® Fajitas Seasoning Mix for a restaurant-style meal.
1 tablespoon oil
1 large onion, sliced thin
1 medium red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
1 pound steak strips
1 package Lawry's® Fajitas Spices & Seasonings
1/4 cup water
1 medium tomato, cut into wedges
8 (8-inch) flour tortillas, warmed
Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add onion and bell pepper; cook and stir 5 minutes or until tender. Remove from skillet.
Cook and stir steak in same skillet on medium-high heat 3 minutes or until browned. Add Seasoning Mix and water. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Return vegetables to skillet. Add tomato; cook until heated through.
Spoon meat mixture into warm tortillas. Serve with assorted toppings, if desired.
Test Kitchen Tip: Add assorted toppings, such as salsa, guacamole and sour cream, if desired.
