Chicken chili, macaroni and cheese – this recipe is a combination of your family’s favorite dinners. Plus, it’s made in the slow cooker – a bonus for the cook.
2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 can (15 ounces) black beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (15 1/4 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained
1 package Lawry's® Southwest Chicken Chili Slow Cooker Recipe & Seasoning Mix
1 can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Place chicken, beans and corn in slow cooker.
Mix Seasoning Mix, tomatoes, tomato sauce and water until well blended. Pour over chicken mixture. Cover.
Cook 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH. Stir in macaroni during last 30 minutes of cooking. Sprinkle with cheese before serving.Slow Cooker Tip: For best results, do not remove cover during cooking.
