Make a unique barbecue sauce with ketchup, beer, brown sugar and Lawry’s® Baja Chipotle Marinade. Great on chicken or ribs.
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup dark beer
1/4 cup Lawry's® Baja Chipotle Marinade with Lime Juice
2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
6 small bone-in chicken thighs, about 2 pounds, skin removed
Mix ketchup, beer, marinade and brown sugar in medium saucepan. Bring to boil on medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium; cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reserve 3/4 cup of the barbecue sauce for serving.
Grill chicken over medium heat 20 to 30 minutes or until cooked through, turning occasionally. Brush with remanining barbecue sauce during last 10 minutes of cooking. Serve chicken with reserved barbecue sauce.
Test Kitchen Tip: Barbecue sauce is also delicious with ribs and pork.
