Make a memorable roast beef dinner this Sunday. Your family will be drawn to the savory aromas coming out of the kitchen.
1 beef eye round roast, about 3 pounds
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 teaspoons Lawry's® Garlic Salt with Parsley
1 teaspoon Lawry's® Seasoned Pepper
1 medium onion, cut into wedges
1 package Lawry's® Brown Gravy Mix
Preheat oven to 325°F. Place roast in foil-lined roasting pan. Brush with oil. Mix garlic salt and seasoned pepper. Sprinkle evenly over roast. Arrange onion around roast. Add 1/4 cup water to pan.
Roast 1 1/2 hours or until desired doneness. Remove roast from oven. Transfer to serving platter. Cover loosely with foil. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before slicing.
Meanwhile, pour drippings into measuring cup. Add enough water to measure 1 cup. Pour into small saucepan. Add gravy mix; mix until well blended. Bring to boil on medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low; simmer 1 minute or until gravy is thickened, stirring occasionally. Serve gravy with sliced roast beef.
