The flavor of dill seed is warming, aromatic and slightly stronger than Dill Weed. Use to prepare pickles, as well as seafood, noodles, breads and potatoes.
• Add 1 teaspoon to marinade for 1 pound fish or use in 4 cups chowder.
• Use 2 tablespoons per quart to make dill pickles or add 1/2 teaspoon to water when cooking potatoes, cauliflower or green beans.
• Add to potato salad or coleslaw.
