A wonderful accompaniment for the Thanksgiving turkey. This gravy can be made ahead -- a plus at holiday time.
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Paprika, Smoked
1 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Italian Seasoning
1/2 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Garlic Powder, California
1/2 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Sicilian Sea Salt
1/4 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Black Pepper, Coarse Ground
2 cups Kitchen Basics® Original Chicken Stock
Melt butter in medium saucepan on medium heat. Add flour and seasonings; cook and stir 1 minute. Gradually whisk in stock. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 to 10 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally.
Test Kitchen Tip: Can be prepared 1 day ahead. Cool, cover and store in refrigerator. Rewarm before serving.
