No time to soak dried black beans? Then this quick and easy version using canned black beans is the next best thing.
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 can (16 ounces) black beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon McCormick Gourmet™ Cuban Seasoning
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
1 leaf McCormick Gourmet™ Bay Leaves, Turkish
1/4 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Oregano, Mexican
Heat oil in large saucepan on medium heat. Add onion; cook and stir 3 minutes or until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients.
Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 15 minutes. Serve over cooked white rice.
