Green beans and tomatoes get refined flavor with sweet caramelized garlic and tangy Riesling vinegar. Photo credit: Joanne Bruno from Eats Well with Others.
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 pint grape tomatoes, halved
1 tablespoon Riesling wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Sicilian Sea Salt
1/8 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Red Pepper, Crushed
1 package (12 ounces) trimmed green beans, cut in half
Heat oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add garlic; stirring almost constantly, cook about 15 minutes or until garlic is golden brown and dry in texture. Add tomatoes, vinegar, sea salt and crushed red pepper; cook and stir 2 minutes or until tomatoes are softened.
Meanwhile, bring 1/2 inch water to boil in large skillet on high heat. Add beans; cover and cook 7 to 9 minutes or until tender-crisp. Drain well. Add to garlic mixture; toss to coat well.
Test Kitchen Tip: A combination of green and waxed beans can be used, if desired.
