Make this Asian take-out favorite at home – chicken and vegetables stir-fried in a fragrant sauce with toasted sesame seeds, ginger, garlic and soy sauce.
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut in thin strips
1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon cornstarch, divided
4 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
1 cup broccoli florets
1 cup red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 cup sugar snap peas
1 cup sliced carrots
1 package McCormick Gourmet™ Sesame & Garlic Stir Fried Chicken Recipe & Seasoning Mix
1 1/2 cups water
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Coat chicken with 1/3 cup of the cornstarch.
Heat 3 tablespoons of the oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken; stir fry 7 to 8 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet. Heat remaining 1 tablespoon oil in skillet. Add vegetables; stir fry 3 to 4 minutes or until tender-crisp.
Mix Seasoning Mix, remaining 1 tablespoon cornstarch, water and soy sauce until smooth. Add to skillet. Bring to boil. Cook 2 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened. Return chicken to skillet; stir fry until heated through. Serve with cooked rice, if desired.
