This grilling season impress your backyard guests with these gourmet burgers.
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon lime juice
1 package McCormick Gourmet™ Strip Steak Fajita with Roasted Peppers & Onions Recipe & Seasoning Mix , divided
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 medium green bell pepper, cut into strips
1 medium red bell pepper, cut into strips
1 tablespoon oil
6 slices Monterey Jack cheese
6 hamburger rolls
Mix mayonnaise, lime juice and 1 teaspoon of the Seasoning Mix in small bowl until well blended. Refrigerate until ready to use. Mix ground beef, onion and remaining Seasoning Mix in large bowl until well blended. Shape into 6 patties. Toss bell peppers with oil. Thread onto skewers or place on grill basket.
Grill bell peppers over medium heat 10 minutes or until tender. Grill burgers 4 to 6 minutes per side or until cooked through (internal temperature of 160ºF). Add cheese slices to burgers 1 minute before cooking is completed. Toast rolls on the grill, open-side down, about 30 seconds or until golden.
Spread mayonnaise mixture on rolls. Top with burgers and bell peppers.
