The taste of the Southwest is so easy to make at home with an ancho and chipotle chile pepper spice rub. Just rub the spices over the meat and grill for instant flavor.
2 teaspoons McCormick Gourmet™ Chile Pepper, Ancho
1 1/2 teaspoons McCormick Gourmet™ Cinnamon, Ground Saigon
1 1/2 teaspoons McCormick Gourmet™ Oregano, Mexican
1 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Chile Pepper, Chipotle
1 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Parsley, Flat Leaf
3/4 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Black Pepper, Coarse Ground
1/2 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Cumin, Ground
1 1/4 teaspoons salt
2 pounds New York strip, 1 inch thick
Mix seasonings on plate. Coat steaks evenly with seasoning mixture.
Grill over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes per side or until desired doneness.
