• Use a vegetable peeler or small thin knife to remove lemon peel in 1 long strip.
Simple Syrup: Place 1 cup each sugar and water in small saucepan on medium heat. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 3 minutes, stirring to dissolve sugar. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Sweeten tea with 2 tablespoons Simple Syrup per 1 cup tea. For Southern-style sweet tea, increase Simple Syrup to 1/4 cup.
