No need to stop by a coffeehouse, when you prepare your own chai latte at home with Cardamom, Saigon Cinnamon and Cloves.
3 cups milk
3 cups water
6 tablespoons sugar
3/4 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Cardamom, Ground
3/4 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Cinnamon, Ground Saigon
3/4 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Cloves, Ground
Pinch McCormick Gourmet™ White Pepper, Ground
12 black tea bags
Bring milk, water, sugar and spices to simmer in medium saucepan. Simmer 1 minute.
Place tea bags in milk mixture. Remove from heat; cover. Let steep 5 minutes. Remove tea bags. Serve hot. Or, refrigerate until chilled; serve over ice.

Ginger would be be a good addition. My dad makes a chai with just ginger and cardamom...and tea, sugar, milk. Comes out amazing. About 1 tspn ginger, 4 crushed cardamom.
