Chai Latte

No need to stop by a coffeehouse, when you prepare your own chai latte at home with Cardamom, Saigon Cinnamon and Cloves.

  • Bring milk, water, sugar and spices to simmer in medium saucepan. Simmer 1 minute.

  • Place tea bags in milk mixture. Remove from heat; cover. Let steep 5 minutes. Remove tea bags. Serve hot. Or, refrigerate until chilled; serve over ice.

    Ginger would be be a good addition. My dad makes a chai with just ginger and cardamom...and tea, sugar, milk. Comes out amazing. About 1 tspn ginger, 4 crushed cardamom. This looks good as well!
