The fragrant spices of chai flavor this rich hot chocolate.
4 cups whole milk
1/2 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Cinnamon, Ground Saigon
1/2 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Cloves, Ground
1/4 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Cardamom, Ground
1 pinch McCormick Gourmet™ White Pepper, Ground
3 ounces bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
3 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
2 tablespoons sugar
Place milk and spices in medium saucepan. Bring just to boil on medium heat. Remove from heat.
Stir in chocolates and sugar with wire whisk until melted and mixture is slightly frothy. Strain hot chocolate.
Serve with whipped cream and grated chocolate, if desired.
