Two global flavors unite in this snack mix. The Indian flavors are provided by garam masala, an aromatic spice blend. While the Latin flavor comes from pepitas (shelled pumpkin seeds).
2 teaspoons McCormick Gourmet™ Garam Masala Blend
1 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Sicilian Sea Salt
2 cups unsalted pepitas, (shelled pumpkin seeds)
1 cup sliced almonds
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup dried cranberries
Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix garam masala and sea salt in small bowl. Set aside.
Place pepitas and almonds in large bowl. Add oil; toss to coat well. Sprinkle with garam masala mixture; toss until evenly coated. Spread nut mixture in single layer on lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake 7 to 10 minutes or until nut mixture begins to brown, stirring occasionally. Cool completely. Stir in cranberries. Store in airtight container up to 2 weeks.
