I just made the new McCormick spice packet Apple & Sage Pork Chops and it was a big hit! (It's a bit different than the apple & sage pork chop recipe listed on the McCormick web site. Hello!
I have had more success making multiple packages by using the same ingredients for each package and then keeping everything warm in the slow cooker. To add some good flavor, try using mild turkey italian sausage (1 lb. for a box) browned and then sliced.

Did you ever get any responses? Did you try the recipe in a crockpot?
I have to cook Red Beans and Rice for work and it would be so easy to take in a crockpot for temperature purposes.

When i fix meatloaf i grind up carrots or sometimes i use spinach or tomatoes the kids eat it and like it. sometimes i put wheat germ in it and after eating you would think i gave them a vit. they love it and seem to feel great i know

Amen to that!! But I married a Yankee from NJ so I take out my beans and add some kind of meat for him. LOL He's not a fan of cornbread or meatless meals.
